Energy Healing Energy healer and mind/body practitioner, Toni Stevens is based in Durham, North Carolina. She has been studying various Complementary and Alternative Modalities including Reiki, Family Constellations, Meditation, BodyTalk, Touch for Health, One Brain, Polarity, Rebirthing, Therapeutic Touch, Age Regressions, Past Life Regressions, Crystal Balancing and Educational Kinesiology since 1989. She became a certified Reiki Master Teacher in 1996, a meditation teacher in 1998 and in 2003 she became certified as a BodyTalk Practitioner and BodyTalk Access Trainer in 2008.
As an energy healer, Toni’s practice focuses on helping individuals, couples and families. She helps people of all ages, from infants to her oldest clients who are nearly 90. Toni practices energy healing and mind/body medicine. Many people don’t understand the subtle differences between the two.
Energy Healing is a term that encompasses many modalities.
Energy medicine, energy therapy, and energy healing are branches of Alternative or Complementary Medicine. Included in this area of healing modality are Reiki, Touch for Health, Therapeutic Touch, Prayer and Energy Work (chakras and the human energy field).
Mind-Body Medicine
Mind Body Medicine uses the power of thoughts and emotions to influence physical health. As Hippocrates once wrote, “The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well.” Included are modalities such as Talk Therapy or Emotional Stress Release (ESR), Meditation, Yoga, BodyTalk, Family Constellations, Stress Management, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
In addition to offering individual healing sessions Toni is a teacher of Reiki, Meditation and BodyTalk Access. Toni is available for private appointments and classes in BodyTalk Access, Reiki and Meditation through her West Durham office, which is also convenient to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Morrisville, Carrboro, Hillsborough, RTP, Roxboro, Bahama and Downtown Durham, NC. It is hard to put into words the impact that Toni Stevens and BodyTalk has had on my life. Toni has created such a safe and inviting space to do such meaningful, impactful, and transformative work towards healing and ridding yourself of negativity or toxicity. About Toni Stevens
Toni has lived in North Carolina for most of her life. Her grandfather was her inspiration to become a healer. He was an old-style General Practitioner in Sampson County, NC, who did everything from delivering babies to caring for the elderly. She never saw him turn anyone away. He was her living example of a dedicated healer. As she traveled with him on house calls, she knew that she wanted to help people have better health.
Toni is a teacher. She teaches Reiki, Meditation and BodyTalk Access which is a modality that teaches five balancing techniques that can be used at home. Toni loves having the ability to teach people how to create happier, healthier, more self-empowered lives.
