Body Talk Access
In this one day Body Talk Access Class you learn a sequence of 5 balances. The first two balances we learn how to remove stress and allow the two hemispheres of the brain to function as one unit. The third balance improves the ability of the body to use the water you drink more effectively for hydration. The fourth balance helps the immune system stay out of confusion and keep us well. And the fifth balance works on the entire musculoskeletal system: the upper body to the lower body and the right side of the body to the left side of the body, the head to the body and the head to the spinal complex.
In just 10 minutes a day, you’ll gain a stronger immune system, improved focus and experience less stress in your life.
Meditation
An program for beginners and for those who wish to reinvigorate their practice. Many aspects of meditation are touched upon allowing the student to create a personalized practice for themselves giving them the results desired.
Students learn:
- the proper way to sit for comfort,
- how to use gentle stretching (yoga) to get the body relaxed,
- how to use breathing in rhythm, (pranayama) to quiet the mind
- how to open the heart through music and nature.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki does not depend on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
The ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an “attunement” given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy” to improve one’s health and enhance the quality of life.

What is the Human Energy Field / How Can we use it for Health and Healing
The HEF is a luminous body that surrounds and inter penetrates the physical body. Researches have divided the aura into “layers” or sometimes called “bodies.” Each succeeding body or layer is less dense and composed of finer substances and higher vibrations than the body it surrounds.
As in many other areas of investigation, what we were absolutely certain about 20 years ago has changed dramatically. For example, in a few decades scientists have gone from a conviction that there is no such thing as an energy field around the human body, to an absolute certainty that it exists. Moreover, we have begun to understand the roles of energy fields in health and disease. Most people are simply not aware of this research, and persist in the attitude that there is no logical basis for energy healing.
Chakras
The Chakras: 7 Gates of Freedom
There are seven major chakras, vortexes of energy, in the body. They influence the functioning of the physical organs, endocrine glands, and body systems. They also affect our feelings of security, creativity, self-discipline, self-love, compassion and self esteem. This class promotes the ability to connect to insight and speak our truth.
In the first class students learn about the chakra system. Then there will be one class focusing on each of the seven chakras. Students learn yoga postures and guided visualizations to balance each chakra.
What to Expect for the Class
Each class lasts an hour and a half. Please wear comfortable, loose clothing. If you plan on eating before you arrive, please eat lightly. Our facility has chairs, benches, yoga mats, cushions, filtered water and tea. Come prepared to have fun!
